Welcome 

Dear Students and Families, 

    Welcome back to Odem High School.  I am excited to get to know you, and I am looking forward to a happy and productive school year.  

    Students are asked to bring the following supplies to class on the first day of school:  composition notebooks, notebook paper, a binder, pens, paper, pencils and highlighters.  Teachers will review a course specific supply list during the first week of school.  A flash drive will also be a very useful tool for the upcoming school year, this will enable students to create and save documents at their leisure at various locations on campus.  A daily planner is highly recommended so that students, can keep track of assignment due dates and testing dates.  Students are responsible for having the necessary supplies for each of their classes.  

    Grading policies and homework policies will be discussed by each individual teacher.

    Studies show that parental involvement in a child's education is  one of the strongest indicators of a student achievement.  We here at Odem High School, hope that you will attend as many school sponsored activities as possible with your child.
