I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of science degree.  I majored in Kinesiology and have a minor in Special Education.  I earned my master's degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. 

    I am fully certified in Special Education, PE, ESL and Health.  I am also certified to be a school administrator.  

   I have just completed my 18th year teaching.  I have taught for Houston ISD, Calallen ISD, and Odem-Edroy ISD.  I have also been coaching for 17 years.  I love my job, and love what I do.  I believe that you never stop learning, no matter how old you are.  Life is a sponge and you need to soak it up and enjoy.   

   I am married and have two children.  My son, T.J. just graduated from Odem High School.  He will be attending Southwestern University in the fall, and he will also be playing football for the Pirates.  My daughter, Madison is an eighth grader at Odem Junior High.  

    On the weekends, if I am not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband Tommy and I can usually be found running around with our kids at all of their extra-curricular events.  So you will often see us, out and about, throughout the community at various activities.
