I have been teaching English Language Arts and Reading for 13 years now. I began my teaching career with Robstown ISD at Seale Jr. High teaching 8th grade PreAP English. In addition, I have taught 6th grade Language Arts, 7th grade Pre-Ap Reading, and 8th grade English Language Arts and Reading. I am currently teaching English II and IV at the high school. I really try to incorporate technology into my daily lessons and projects. I think technology is a wonderful way to liven the way a child learns a new concept of a concept. Right now, we use Remind101 with our cell phones and computer to send mass text reminders about classroom assignments, projects, and tests. It is a really great way to stay connected with the students and parents.

My name is Lindsay Silguero, and I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas where I spent the first 13 years of my life. I am a 1999 graduate from Hebbronville High School where I met my classmate and husband, Rocky Silguero. We have been married for 16 years now. Together, we have 3 beautiful children: Andrew Jacob, Jason Daniel, and Gianna Elise. My husband also works for Odem-Edroy ISD teaching high school Spanish and coaching junior high and high school sports. I have been teaching for a total of 13 years. The last 8 years of my professional career have been here at Odem-Edroy ISD. I enjoy working with students and creating a positive impact on their lives. I love to read and spend as much time as I possibly can with my family.
