2017 is the beginning of my 12th year of teaching, and I must say that it has been an enjoyable journey. I have had the opportunity to teach from 6th-11th grade within the OEISD school district, and each experience has been enjoyable. I have taught general education, Pre-AP course, and AP Language and composition.

I have recently just finished my 11th year of teaching, and it has been a roller coaster of emotions and experiences. I have truly enjoyed every moment, and would not change anything that has happened along the way. I have come across amazing teachers and students, and they have helped me become the teacher I am today, and I am thankful for those relationships.
My goal as a teacher is to teach students that English is a part of their everyday lives, and that we are impacted by language everywhere that we go. I want students to leave my classroom as lifelong learners, and to become people that want to make our world a better place, and offer their gifts to the world. It is our duty to give back to those who have helped us on our life journey, and offering our talents to build up our community is the least we can do.
Please know that I am here for you, both students and parents, and will do what I can to make your educational experience in my classroom the best that I can. I am not perfect,and would never claim to be, so please bear with me as I am flooded in my flaws, although I do have my bright moments as well.
I pray that students have an amazing learning experience with me, and I look forward to many inspiring moments to come.
